Indoxacarb 14.5% SC is an oxadiazine group insecticide that controls caterpillar and lepidopteran pests. It is registered for use on cotton, cabbage, chilli, and pigeon pea. It works through contact and stomach action, stopping pest feeding within hours of spray.
Indoxacarb 14.5% SC is a suspension concentrate insecticide belonging to the oxadiazine chemical class. It is a non-systemic insecticide effective against chewing and leaf-eating larvae. The active molecule is indoxacarb at 14.5% w/v in suspension concentrate (SC) formulation. It is widely used to control bollworms, pod borers, diamond back moth (DBM), and fruit borers in field crops and vegetables.

Always refer to the product label before use. Do not exceed recommended dose. Do not apply on unregistered crops. Strictly observe PHI before harvest.
When to spray: Apply at the first sign of pest infestation. Spray during early larval stage for best control. Do not wait for heavy infestation.
Time of day: Spray in the early morning or late evening. Avoid spraying in direct midday heat or during rain.
Spray interval: Do not repeat spray within 10–14 days. Do not apply more than 2 sprays per season to manage resistance.
PHI (Pre-Harvest Interval): Observe crop-specific PHI before harvesting (refer to dose table above).
Rainy conditions: Do not spray if rain is expected within 4 hours of application.
It blocks neuronal sodium channels in the insect nervous system. After contact or ingestion, the pest stops feeding within 1–4 hours. The larva becomes paralysed and dies within 2–4 days. This anti-feedant effect protects the crop from further damage even before the pest dies.
Because indoxacarb works through a unique mode of action (oxadiazine class), it is useful for resistance management when rotated with organophosphates or pyrethroids.
The recommended dose for bollworm control in cotton is 500 ml per hectare, which equals approximately 200 ml per acre. Mix at 1.5 ml per litre of water.
Indoxacarb 14.5% SC controls bollworm in cotton, diamond back moth in cabbage, fruit borer in chilli, and pod borer in pigeon pea. It is effective against lepidopteran larvae and caterpillar pests.
CIB-registered crops are cotton, cabbage, chilli, and pigeon pea. Do not apply on unregistered crops.
