What is ORIGEN?

Krishikranti ORIGEN is a dual-class combination insecticide for resistant BPH, stem borers, whitefly, and thrips in paddy, cotton, and vegetables. It combines Fipronil (phenylpyrazole) and Thiamethoxam (neonicotinoid)  two completely different nerve-attack mechanisms in one product.

Why ORIGEN Works on Resistant Pests

• Dual mode of action: Fipronil blocks GABA channels (fast knockdown) + Thiamethoxam blocks nAChR receptors (systemic residual)
• Pests cannot develop resistance: Would need to mutate TWO different biological pathways simultaneously  virtually impossible

A: Yes. Apply 1.5 ml/L (300 ml/acre) at first sign of hopper infestation. Controls BPH, WBPH, and GLH in one spray.

Q: Why is ORIGEN called "alternate chemistry"?

A: It attacks two completely different insect nervous system receptors. Pests resistant to single molecules still die from ORIGEN.
