Imidacloprid 70% WG is a systemic neonicotinoid insecticide in water dispersible granule form. It controls whitefly, aphids, jassids, thrips, and planthoppers in cotton, paddy, chilli, tomato, okra, and sugarcane. The WG formulation dissolves completely in water, leaves no oily residue, and works through both contact and systemic action.

Water volume: 200 litres per acre. Mixing tip: Dissolve granules in a small quantity of water first, stir well, then add to full sprayer volume. Repeat: Every 14–21 days based on pest pressure.
Imidacloprid binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) in the insect nervous system. This causes continuous nerve excitation, leading to paralysis and death. Because it is systemic, the molecule is absorbed through leaves and roots and moves through plant vascular tissue reaching pests feeding on sap from inside the leaf, not just those on the surface. Residual activity lasts 10–14 days per foliar application.
Important: Toxic to bees and aquatic organisms do not spray near water bodies or during pollination. Pre-harvest interval: 7 days for vegetables, 14 days for cotton and paddy. Wear gloves, mask, and full-sleeve clothing during application. Do not mix with alkaline compounds. Store in a cool, dry place away from food and livestock.
