How to Use Bacillus Subtilis Step by Step
1. Spray on Leaves (Most Common)
Mix 2.5 to 5 grams in 1 litre of water. Spray in early morning or late evening. Cover both upper and lower side of leaves. Do not spray in hot sun. Repeat every 7 to 10 days during disease season.
2. Seed Treatment
Mix 5 to 10 grams per kg of seed. Add a little water to make a paste. Coat the seeds. Dry in shade. Sow within 24 hours.
3. Soil Application
Mix 2.5 kg per acre with 50 to 100 kg well-rotted FYM (gobar khaad) or vermicompost. Keep moist for 5 to 7 days. Then spread in the field at sowing or transplanting time.
4. Soil Drench (For Bacterial Wilt & Root Diseases)
Mix 5 grams in 1 litre of water. Pour around the base of plants. Repeat after 10 to 15 days if disease is still there.
5. Root Dip Before Transplanting
Mix 10 grams in 1 litre of water. Dip seedling roots for 20 to 30 minutes. Then transplant.
