Krishikranti Metman is a dual-action metalaxyl 8% + mancozeb 64% WP (72% WP) combination fungicide pairing systemic metalaxyl with contact mancozeb. It delivers preventive and curative control of late blight in potato and tomato, downy mildew in grapes and pearl millet, white rust in mustard, black shank and damping off in tobacco, and phytophthora foot rot in black pepper. Metalaxyl is a systemic fungicide rapidly absorbed by roots and leaves. It moves upward in the xylem and inhibits RNA synthesis in Oomycete fungi, blocking growth and reproduction from inside the plant. Mancozeb is a multi-site contact fungicide that forms a protective film on the leaf surface and inactivates fungal enzymes, preventing spore germination. Together they deliver internal cure plus external shield covering the full disease cycle of late blight, downy mildew, and phytophthora pathogens.
It is used to control late blight in potato and tomato, downy mildew in grapes and pearl millet, white rust and downy mildew in mustard, damping off and black shank in tobacco, and phytophthora foot rot in black pepper.
