Krishikranti Sweep Shot is a non-selective, post-emergence contact herbicide with Glufosinate Ammonium 13.5% SL. It controls a broad range of grasses and broadleaf weeds in tea and cotton. It works fast on actively growing weeds through direct contact.

Mode of Action

Glufosinate Ammonium inhibits the glutamine synthetase enzyme (Herbicide Group 10), blocking ammonium metabolism in the weed. This causes a rapid buildup of ammonia in plant tissue, damaging cell membranes and stopping photosynthesis. The weed dries out and dies within days of contact.

Spray Method & Timing

Apply Krishikranti Sweep Shot as a directed spray on actively growing weeds, keeping the spray away from tea or cotton foliage since it is non-selective. Use 150–200 litres of water per acre with a knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat fan nozzle.
