Product Description
Chlorantraniliprole 8.8% + Thiamethoxam 17.5% SC is a dual-action systemic insecticide. It controls both chewing and sucking pests in a single spray. It is recommended for tomato and rice (nursery), and works against fruit borer, leaf miner, whitefly, stem borer, leaf folder and green leaf hopper.
For many farmers, one spray rarely handles both caterpillars and sucking pests together so you end up spraying twice. Krishikranti Bhairav solves this. Its two modes of action protect the crop from inside the plant and give long-lasting control, which means fewer sprays and lower labour cost.
Uses Target Pests & Crops
Krishikranti Bhairav is recommended for the following crops and pests:
| Crop | Pests Controlled |
|---|---|
| Tomato | Fruit borer, Leaf miner, Whitefly |
| Rice / Paddy (nursery stage) | Stem borer, Leaf folder, Green leaf hopper |
Dose / Application Rate
The recommended dose of Chlorantraniliprole 8.8% + Thiamethoxam 17.5% SC is 500–600 ml per acre. Always follow the product label for your specific crop.
| Crop | Dose per Acre | Approx. Dilution* | Application |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tomato | 500–600 ml | 2.5–3 ml / litre of water | Foliar spray |
| Rice (nursery) | 500–600 ml | 2.5–3 ml / litre of water | Foliar spray |
*Dilution is approximate, based on around 200 litres of water per acre. Refer to the product label for exact water volume and crop-specific dose.
Spray Method & Timing
Spray Krishikranti Bhairav at the early stage of pest attack for best results. Mix the required dose in clean water and spray uniformly on the crop. Spray during early morning or late evening, not in strong sunlight. A repeat spray can be done if pest pressure continues, following label intervals. Maintain the pre-harvest interval (waiting period) given on the label before harvest.
Mode of Action
Krishikranti Bhairav works in two ways at once. Chlorantraniliprole belongs to the anthranilic diamide group and acts mainly on chewing pests, causing paralysis and stopping feeding. Thiamethoxam is a systemic neonicotinoid that is absorbed by the plant and controls sucking pests from inside. Together they give broad-spectrum control of mixed pest populations.
