Product Description
What Makes Trichoderma Harzianum Special?
Trichoderma harzianum is one of the most powerful friendly fungi in farming. It does 2 things at the same time:
- It is a bio fungicide: Kills harmful fungi like Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, Pythium, Sclerotium, and Phytophthora that cause root rot, wilt, and damping off
- It is also a bio nematicide: Kills root-knot nematodes (small worms that damage roots and reduce yield)
This 2-in-1 action is why Trichoderma harzianum is the first choice for vegetable growers, fruit growers, and farmers facing both fungal disease and nematode problems.
What Diseases Does It Stop?
Soil-Borne Fungal Diseases
- Root rot in tomato, chilli, brinjal, capsicum
- Damping off in nursery Seedlings fall and die
- Fusarium wilt in tomato, banana, gram, cotton
- Collar rot in groundnut, soybean
- Stem rot in pulses, oilseeds
- Charcoal rot in soybean, sunflower
- Black scurf in potato
- Sclerotinia rot in vegetables
- Phytophthora root rot in citrus, papaya
- Panama wilt in banana
- Karnal bunt in wheat

Common Dose for All Crops
Same simple dose works for all crops. Choose the method based on your problem.
| Method | Dose | When & Why |
|---|---|---|
| Seed Treatment | 5–10 g per kg seed | Before sowing protects from damping off and root rot |
| Soil Application | 2–2.5 kg per acre (mix in 50–100 kg FYM) |
At sowing or transplanting for wilt, rot, and nematode problems |
| Drench (Affected Plants) | 5–10 g per litre water OR 1–2 kg in 200 L water/acre |
When plants start drooping or showing wilt symptoms |
| Root Dip (Seedlings) | 10 g per litre water (dip 20–30 min) |
Before transplanting best for tomato, chilli, brinjal |
| Fruit Tree Application | 50–100 g per plant (mix with FYM) |
Apply near root zone, repeat every 3–4 months |
| Drip Irrigation | 1–2 kg in 100–200 L water per acre |
For plantation crops, fruit orchards, drip-fed vegetables |
| Nursery Bed | 50 g in 10 L water (per 1 sq m) |
Drench nursery beds before sowing |
How to Use Step by Step
1. Seed Treatment
Take 5 to 10 grams per kg of seed. Mix with little water (about 50 ml) to make a paste. Coat seeds well. Dry in shade for 20 to 30 minutes. Sow within 24 hours. Best for groundnut, soybean, gram, paddy, cotton.
2. Soil Application (Most Common)
Take 2 to 2.5 kg per acre. Mix with 50 to 100 kg of well-rotted gobar khaad (FYM) or vermicompost. Sprinkle some water to keep mixture moist. Cover with wet sack and keep in shade for 5 to 7 days. Then spread in field at sowing or transplanting time.
3. Drench for Standing Crops
Mix 5 to 10 grams per litre of water. Pour around the base of plants. For full acre mix 1 to 2 kg in 200 litres water and drench. Repeat after 15 days if disease continues.
4. Root Dip Before Transplanting
Mix 10 grams per litre of water. Dip seedling roots for 20 to 30 minutes. Then transplant. Very effective for nematode-prone fields.
5. For Fruit Trees
Mix 50 to 100 grams per plant with 5 to 10 kg FYM or vermicompost. Apply near the root zone. Repeat every 3 to 4 months for full protection.
When to Use
- At sowing or transplanting (preventive gives best result)
- Before monsoon when soil moisture rises
- In fields with last year's wilt, root rot, or nematode history
- In nurseries with damping-off problem
- For organic farming and IPM crop programs
- Year-round in fruit orchards and plantation crops
- 30 to 35 days after sowing as preventive booster
How Does It Work?
Trichoderma harzianum is a smart fungus. It works in 4 ways:
- Mycoparasitism: It directly attacks and eats harmful disease fungi dissolves their cell walls
- Competition: It grabs root space and food before disease germs can
- Antibiosis: It produces natural antibiotics that kill disease germs
- Plant defence boost: It wakes up the plant's own immune system
Bonus benefits it also solubilises phosphorus and micronutrients in soil, making them available to the plant. So plants grow faster, with stronger roots and greener leaves.
Why Farmers Choose Krishikranti Trichoderma Harzianum
- 2-in-1 product: Stops fungal diseases AND nematodes saves cost on separate nematicide
- Works in summer too: Survives in warm soils up to 35°C better than viride for south India
- Best for fruit crops: Mango, banana, papaya, grape, pomegranate growers prefer it for nematode control
- Improves soil health: Solubilises phosphorus, builds microbial life, boosts plant growth
- Residue-free: Safe for export crops, organic certification, and consumer health
- Cost-effective: One application protects the whole crop cycle when applied with FYM
- Long shelf life: Talc-based powder formulation stores well in normal conditions
- Organic farming approved: NPOP-compliant for organic and export-grade production
- No resistance issue: Disease germs and nematodes cannot become strong against it
