Verticillium lecanii fungal spores attach to the body of sucking pest insects on contact. The spores germinate and penetrate directly through the insect cuticle into the body. The fungus colonizes the entire insect, drains nutrients, and kills the pest completely. Dead insects release new spores that infect nearby pests — creating a continuous cycle of biological pest control without any chemical residue.
