REMI GOLD by Krishikranti is a broad-spectrum phenylpyrazole insecticide containing Fipronil 18.87% w/w SC (Suspension Concentrate). Fipronil is the gold-standard molecule for thrips control because it blocks GABA-regulated chloride channels in the insect's central nervous system, causing hyperactivity, paralysis, and death within 24–48 hours of exposure.
REMI GOLD works through three modes: contact, stomach (ingestion), and systemic, which is why it cleans up hidden thrips inside flower whorls and curled leaves where most foliar sprays fail to reach.
Fipronil binds to the GABA-gated chloride channel in the insect central nervous system (IRAC Group 2B). This blocks chloride ion flow, disrupts nerve impulse transmission, and causes paralysis and death. Because mammals have a different receptor structure, Fipronil shows high selectivity against insects with low non-target risk.

The recommended dose of Fipronil 18.87% SC is 150–200 ml per acre, mixed in 150–200 litres of water. For pump-based application, use 15–20 ml per 15-litre pump or 1 ml per litre of water.
