Propineb is a contact protectant fungicide that forms a protective film on the leaf surface and disrupts fungal metabolism at multiple sites respiration, enzyme function, and cell membrane integrity. Its multi-site action prevents resistance development, making TUCOL one of the most reliable preventive fungicides for resistance-rotation programmes. The polymeric zinc in the molecule releases slowly to the plant, giving a visible greening effect, improved leaf vigour, and better fruit colour and quality.
