Cymoxanil 8% + Mancozeb 64% WP is a systemic-plus-contact fungicide that controls late blight and downy mildew. Cymoxanil moves inside the plant and stops infection during the incubation period, before symptoms appear. Mancozeb sits on the leaf surface as a protective barrier against new spores. Krishikranti MASSIMO is used on potato, tomato, grapes, and cucumber.

How to Use Cymoxanil 8% + Mancozeb 64% WP

1. Take a small quantity of water in a container and dissolve the required quantity of Krishikranti MASSIMO in it.
2. Stir the solution thoroughly, then mix it into the remaining spray tank water.
3. Use a knapsack or power sprayer fitted with a hollow cone nozzle for even coverage.
4. Spray both the upper and lower leaf surfaces  downy mildew and late blight both attack from the underside.
5. Start spraying at the first visible symptom, or earlier as a preventive spray when weather turns cool, humid, and cloudy (late blight) or humid after rain (downy mildew).
6. Repeat every 10–14 days depending on disease pressure. Avoid spraying during peak sun hours or just before rain.

Cymoxanil is absorbed into leaf tissue and disrupts the fungus during its incubation stage, giving curative action against infection that has already started. It is rainfast within a few hours of spraying. Mancozeb is a multi-site contact fungicide from the dithiocarbamate group that blocks spore germination on the leaf surface, giving protective cover against new infection. Because mancozeb acts on multiple sites inside the fungal cell, resistance build-up is slow  making this combination a practical resistance-management tool when rotated with single-site systemic fungicides.
